"In early 2005 after 10 years as the President of Consolidated Electrical Contractors (CEC) I felt like I was in a trap. As an accountant I was frustrated that sales were growing at a rapid pace but profitability was not. In June of 2005 Alan joined our team as an external coach. He helped us to move forward with a restructuring of our organization to make us more effective (not a downsizing).
